Binge Report: Game of Thrones Hold Top Spot After "The Long Night" Airing

'The Long Night' may be over, but 'Game of Thrones' is still at the top of the TV Time Binge Report top 10 chart for the week ending April 28, 2019.

TV Time calculates a binge session as when a viewer watches four or more episodes of the same show within a given day, as tracked by the TV Time (iPhone and Android) App. With most of TV Time's users being in the U.S., the binge data used in this report is therefore mainly reflective of the U.S. audience, and some shows listed are not available in Australia without the use of a suitable VPN.

The most anticipated episode of 'Game of Thrones' has helped the HBO hit show to stay at the number one spot, as viewers continue to binge on older episodes either in an effort to catch up to the newest season, or to relive the good (and bad) old times. Its share of binges is down slightly to 3.84%, suggesting the binge surge is on the wane.

This might mean that a new Netflix show, which entered the top 10 this week in a high 4th place finish, might eventually usurp GoT's dominance at the top of the chart. BONDiNG tells the story of a grad student who moonlights as a dominatrix in this very adult, very NSFW show.

Also new to the top 10 is The CW's 'Jane the Virgin', entering the chart at 10th spot.

Making way for both new entries are Santa Clarita Diet, which has just been cancelled by Netflix, and The Walking Dead, which has been entering and exiting the top 10 for weeks.
