August is almost over (and so is winter), but before that happens, it's time to take a look at what's been happening at Stan.
The big show returning for a new season this week is Power, back for the sixth and final season. You can stream new episodes of the show every Monday.
Also returning for a new season is the long-running teen series Degrassi: The Next Generation, now back for a 10th season (and that's not including the "previous generation" episodes).
There is also a new BBC drama in the form of The Split, and you can stream season 1 of the show right away.
And a notable mention to The Detour, which has just ended its fourth season run.
A couple of interesting movie choices for you this week. After last week's 'Bounce', we have more Gwyneth Paltrow movies this week in the form of Emma and Sliding Doors.
Neo-noir drama Hollywoodland is another pick, as is Don Jon, written, directed and acted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt with a memorable performance by Scarlett Johansson.
