Welcome back as we take a look at what has just been added to Stan in this past week.
Apart from the weekly continuing series, there's the new BBC series Liar, for which you can now stream the complete first season.
Once again, it's the newly movies that are the highlights of this roundup.
If you're a Tom Cruise fan - and to be honest it's quite hard not to be considering the entertainment value, if not quality, of his work - then the Tom Cruise collection is what you'll be after. The collection includes, in no particular order, Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible II, Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Top Gun, Jack Reacher, Collateral, Vanilla Sky, The Firm, and Days Of Thunder. Personally, I'll be streaming Top Gun right away just so I can prepare for next year's 'Top Gun: Maverick' (4K trailer). Then 'Days Of Thunder' for sure, as I haven't seen it for a long time (along with our lovely Nicole, of course).
Biography movies are a weakness of mine and Nowhere Boy, about the earlier life of John Lennon, is definitely worth a watch.
World movie fans should check out Turkey's The Wild Pear Tree.
