Another week full of fantastic updates, in particular, lots of classic movies and some Halloween appropriate ones, just in time.
Before we get to the movies, there's a new sci-fi series that I must admit I've been really looking forward to. Brave New World is based on Aldous Huxley's 1932 novel and I just love the "Utopia is actually a Dystopia" sub-genre that this series is about. You can stream the entire first season right now.
This is one show I must admit I missed when it first went around, so I'm sure I'll go and check out the well-received drama series Mr Selfridge.
Some great ideas for movie marathon nights, catering for those that crave a bit of action/sci-fi (Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, and Riddick), action/adventure (The Mummy (1999), The Mummy Returns, and The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor), or just some Arnie action (Total Recall, Red Heat, Raw Deal and the Conan the Barbarian vibed Red Sonja).
For Halloween, there are lots of choices, but the picks are The Return of The Living Dead and Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
If you've watched HBO's "The Vow", then you would already know quite a bit about the NXIVM Cult. If you just want to find out a bit more, the documentary series Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult is sure to inform. And fans of sports documentaries with an interest in politics should check out Bad Hombres.
