A bumper week for new TV content, so let's take a look at what's worth bingeing and what's worth skipping on Stan.
A bunch of foreign TV shows has just made its way to Stan's library, including the likes of Presumed Guilty from Spain and Hide And Seek from the Ukraine.
If you're looking for something closer to home, then try the Aussie mini-series The True Believers and The Paper Man, one about the fortunes and misfortunes of the Labor party following WWII, and the other a fictional story about an Australian entrepreneur who builds a global media empire from the purchase of a single Sydney newspaper (nope, doesn't sound familiar at all).
Here's another great television show, ended too soon in my opinion - you have to watch Kelsey Grammer's masterful performance in Boss, with both seasons available right now.
There's also a new season of Desus & Mero.
In movies, a solid LGBTQI drama can be found in Against The Law, while Twelve Monkeys is as classic sci-fi as you're going to get.
In classics, Carl Reiner's The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming is well worth a watch, while I'm sure when they made Inherit The Wind in 1960, they thought the debate between Darwinism vs Creationism, and between science and religion (spoiler alert: they may be compatible), would have been settled with the fine legal arguments made during the movie, but it's 2021, and they're still arguing about it over in the States.
