Welcome to the Ides of March edition of the weekly Stan "what's new". No backstabbing here today, just some great TV and awesome movies.
Other than the shows with new weekly episodes, Sweden's Cryptid is the only new series added to Stan this week. But if you're fan of the supernatural, make sure to check this new series out.
Some big and important movies added to Stan this week. In terms of new movies, Bill & Ted Face The Music definitely fits the Bill (haha). Released during the pandemic, this film didn't get a wide theatrical release like it should have, but you're now the beneficiaries with an express release on Stan.
If the absolute newest isn't a priority, then Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Oldboy are both good movies, although the latter being original, and the former being a remake tells you exactly what you need to know about how good each movie is. Still, for those that don't like subtitles, the remake of "Oldboy" would be the next best choice.
And then there's Schindler's List. More than just a film that deservedly won all the awards, it's also an important film that reminds us of the true horrors of the Holocaust so we may never make the same mistake again, even if people with the same horrific ideals have rebranded themselves as something more modern and attractive.
Finally, a true-crime series from a unique perspective can be found in the documentary series The Murderer And Me.
