A big week of updates, with some great new series, returning series and a great collection of newly added movies. Let's take a look then.
With an all-star cast and based on a true story, Dr. Death's premise of a sociopathic neurosurgeon who was deliberately maiming and killing his patients is just too good to ignore. Best of all, you can binge the entire first season without having to wait for new episodes to arrive weekly.
From France comes the crime mystery drama Beyond Appearances, also available in an entire season form. There is also the two-part Australian miniseries Wake In Fright.
Re-upping for new seasons are the show First Wives Club (season 2), Miracle Workers (season 3), and the achingly funny second season of This Way Up.
A big list of new movie additions, with many new Warner Bros. titles making their way into the Stan library (it's a good thing WB hasn't decided to launch HBO Max here, as otherwise, we wouldn't be getting these titles).
Before we get to that, we have 5 Halloween movies to binge through.
The WB movie dump, for want of a better word, includes classics like You've Got Mail, The Wedding Singer, as well as newer efforts like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Blood Diamond and Argo. Digging further into the WB catalogue are the movies The Last Boy Scout and Outbreak, the former was Bruce Willis at his peak, while the latter may be too close to home these days, but was all the rage back when it was released.
