Stan: What's New For 20 July - 26 July 2021

Time again to take a look at what's been happening on Stan this past week.

Television:

Four new series has just been added to. When Hope Calls, Poland's Blinded By The Lights, the BBC's Sinbad and Australian crime drama Mystery Road all join the ever growing Stan library.

There is also a new season of Perfect Places.

Movies, Documentaries:

Some really interesting movies to highlight this week. Rehabilitated (?) Mel Gibson's directorial return is a solid effort in the WWII drama Hacksaw Ridge, while Young Guns back in 1988 when it was released was all the rage, especially with its young cast who many speculated were going to be the stars of the next decade.

2010's Piranha was a reboot of the classic 1978 film, and unlike most reboots, this one was actually quite fun in its own stupid (really stupid) way. Lucky Number Slevin is a particularly solid actioner and a reminder of the past when Bruce Willis was actually in good movies.

And finally Click to Change Your Life: Secrets of a Global Craze sees British reporter Ellis Flynn investigate the murky world of multi-level marketing.
