Stan: What's New For 11 December - 17 December 2023

Complete series, classic must-see movies, and plenty for the kids. These are just some of the highlights this week. Read on to find out more.

Television:

A new Swedish crime drama series, Detective 24, has just been added.

There are also two complete series, the sitcom Superstore and mystery drama series Keeping Faith.

For those who love country music and Christmas specials, I have the thing for you: CMA Country Christmas 2023.

Movies, Documentaries:

There are some real classics in this week's movie line-up.

How To Blow Up a Pipeline is well worth a watch, and as animal with humans movies go, 2022's Dog is a pretty good one.

Daredevil and Elektra join Stan from 20th Century's Marvel stables, a somewhat counterintuitive move given 20th Century Studios is owned by Disney, who have their own streaming platform.

One of the best sci-fi movies of all time, Terminator 2: Judgment Day has just been added, while another pretty good, if not great John Grisham thriller adaptation can be found in The Client.

And you can't really mentioned movie classics without mentioning The Wizard of Oz.
